Now in its fifth year, the campaign has distributed over 8,000 freshly prepared meals with support from local restaurants.

Volunteers have worked with charities and community groups to ensure the food reaches those in need.

Becky Elyas from Manchester ISB emphasized the campaign’s aim to assist those facing food insecurity. "Sadly, we continue to see the deterioration in the cost of living with increasing numbers of people suffering from food poverty across our city," she said.

She highlighted the significance of Ramadan as a time for community and reflection. "Sharing a meal and eating together with your family and friends is one of the joys of breaking the fast in Ramadan," Elyas added.
